Hello! In this portfolio, you will find information and content related to my studies and experiences within my Spanish courses. As a journalism major, it is very important for me to be fluently knowledgeable in more than one language, since I will be interacting with many people from different parts of the world. Knowing Spanish will also make me a better journalist and candidate for future job positions since I have the ability to speak to multiple individuals of different ethnic backgrounds. I have taken Spanish since 8th grade and took IB Spanish courses all throughout my high school education. I intend to use my knowledge of Spanish to ensure people who do not know English feel heard and appreciated.

Additionally, my growing knowledge of Spanish will allow me to effectively be a diverse student and individual, allowing me to relate to other cultures and ethnicities. I will know historical and modern-day information on Spanish cultures to educate me on the world around me, outside of my country.
