My name is Peyton Marohl and I am a freshman at Old Dominion University! I grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and attended St. Mary’s for high school. I chose Old Dominion mainly because I was recruited to play on their women’s lacrosse team, but also because I loved the city of Norfolk and knew that I would be set up for academic success here! I chose exercise science because as an athlete I have seen many people suffer with set backs due to injury and would love to be able to help anyone in their recovery process. Along with playing lacrosse, I love to hangout with friends, go to yoga, make yummy food, and hangout with friends and family. In high school I also ran cross country, indoor track, and played on the basketball team which are sports I end participating in as well! In addition, I was able to participate in the One Love and UNICEF club which involved promoting those organizations through local events and raising money for those clubs in order for them to continue. I am excited for my first year at Old Dominion and hope to learn a lot about exercise science!
