My name is Ryleigh Holthus, and I am a graduating senior at Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Cybercrime alongside a minor in Computer Science. I found my passion for computers and online safety during covid as I began to see the impact technology had and this passion has stuck with me ever since.
Outside of school, I am a student worker at ODU’s Perry Library and on the side I sit and walk pets. I also have extensive travelling experiences as I grew up as a Diplo Kid and have lived in seven countries and have visited so much more.
Looking ahead, I am excited to step into the next chapter of my career and continue growing as a cybercrime professional. My long-term goal is to work in the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit either locally or in the FBI. I want to be able to make a meaningful impact and protect the people most vulnerable.
