My name is Ryan Hall, a Cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University from Richmond, VA. My goal is to graduate with my degree in Cybersecurity and build a career that allows me to be both professionally successful and financially stable.

Through ODU’s Cybersecurity program, I’ve gained knowledge in topics such as network security, risk management, and digital forensics. Each course has built on the last, giving me both technical skills and an understanding of how cybersecurity connects to real world challenges. I’ve also learned how collaboration, problem-solving, and ethical responsibility play a role in protecting systems and data.

Outside of class, I enjoy playing basketball and spending time with friends and family, which keeps me balanced and focused. Looking ahead, I aim to use what I’ve learned to contribute to the growing need for cybersecurity professionals, helping organizations stay secure in an increasingly digital world.
