Hi everyone, my name is Wendy. I am a returning graduate working on my Psychology Degree. I graduated May 2019 with a Degree in Criminal Justice and now I am back for another round of education. I hope to continue my education and earn my masters and PhD in psychology. I am currently a single mom of three awesome daughters and 4 awesome Fur babies. I work full time at Best Buy while I am a full time student here at Old Dominion University. I have applied for Chesapeake Police Department where I hope to make my way up to Detective status and also work in Crime Scene Investigations division. My back up plan would be to become a clinical psychologist, but I really hope to use my psychology degree to become a criminal behavioral specialist. I am fascinated with the way the mind works and how it influences and controls the body whether we want it to or if it is subconscious. I really want to take away as much knowledge from this course as possible to help me in my future career.
