Hello, My name is Syncere Bullin, I am a student here at ODU taking Fluid Mechanics, Im so excited to take the class!

Hello, and I hope this letter finds you well. In the course, it was some challenges I have faced throughout this course but I cannot say that I did not learn anything, because I learned a lot about this course. Like the professor said before, it’s going to be challenging but he will be willing to work with us to get through the course. My learning demonstrated that I can be a good engineer once im out of school and get a job. I improved the most in getting the right formulas, as I said in my test reflections, because before I struggled to find the correct formulas to tackle the problems that were given to me. This course can help me in the field that I may get a job in because Im an engineer so I know that there will be a lot of formulas I will have to use that I learned in this class to use for the job I will receive in the future. I have not been able to apply the techniques that I learned in this course yet, but I know future courses that I will take, I will remember because I have taken this course and learned about it. As I said before, I know for sure that I will take my knowledge and use these techniques in a future job because right now, I may get a job at the shipyard over the summer and usually they work on boats. So knowing that I know that I will also work on pipes, and in this course that’s mainly what this course was about. If I started this class again, the advice I would give myself is definitely to take advantage of turning in my test early so I can get updates on what I was doing, feel like I missed that and I would try that out next time. Ways that I have improved as an engineer are definitely working hard and not giving up on doing something. I know engineering is hard and that to be great at it you have to put in effort to get through it, I did and in the future, I will try harder next time for me to be successful in future classes. What brought it definitely was seeing the way the course was and that made me try harder to try and do good in the class. My biggest accomplishment would be working as a team, as I usually do not work as a team but, in this class, I had to support in order for us as a whole to good on the project. Skills that I say I mastered would be again working in a team, as before some of the homework problems were a little hard for me, but knowing that I had a team, we all mashed our brains together to help each other out to find a solution for the problem. An example would be a problem with the pipe, where we had to use Excel to get an answer to the problem. Weaknesses that I had in the course would be the test side of the course as I was not the strongest, but my Strengths were mainly me being a team player helping my team out, and figuring out solutions to some problems. How I thought about the course was mainly how I think about every course I take, where I say im going to try my best to get through the class, and Im going to get through it, that is usually how I tackle every course I come up with. Overall, the course definitely helped me out and woke me up to a lot of things I need to fix, Im all for refinement and I just wan to thank you for this opportunity to give me points on writing this paper.
