About Me

My name is David Seliquini, and I’m a 36-year-old AI in Cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University. I’m excited to be starting this new chapter in my life, using my military benefits to pursue a career in AI/Cybersecurity after 14 years of government service in the Navy and as a civilian. I have a child and two stepchildren, and I’m eager to expand my education and skills to build a brighter future for my family.

I’m a sophomore student and I love diving into the details of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. I believe that a strong foundation is essential for tackling the complex challenges in this field. I’m particularly fascinated by how artificial intelligence can be used to predict and prevent cyberattacks. It’s an exciting time to be entering this field, and I’m eager to learn and contribute.

I’m drawn to roles like Cyber Crime Investigator or Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, where I can use my analytical skills to protect people and organizations from cyber threats. I’m confident that my experience in the Navy and as a civilian engineer, where clear communication and attention to detail were crucial, will be valuable assets in this new career path.
