Realizing from a young age how passionate he is about helping others, Shawn has long been attracted to working in fields where he can assist and empower others to achieve greatness. Coming from a background in adult healthcare, Shawn has been putting this passion to practice, serving the handicapped community with Eggleston Services from 2016-2019, while being an active member in his church and community.
Having the desire to move more toward his desired field of education, Shawn began working for Virginia Beach Parks and Rec after and before school programs, where his passion and dedication for his work saw him quickly overseeing 13 programs in the Kempsville Area. Although less in a program setting, Shawn continues to strive to better the lives and community he services everyday, and and hopes to continue to enrich lives of children, through structured youth development programs.
