Hi, my name is Skylar Proctor. I am a freshmen cybersecurity major at Old Dominion University. Throughout high school I completed rigorous coursework in the International Baccalaureate program and Advanced Placement classes. Before college I was an active student-athlete, excelling in cheerleading, track, and gymnastics, which has instilled a strong sense of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Since I’ve been at ODU, I became the treasurer of the National Society of Leadership and Success chapter. As a member of the Honors Society, I demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and continuous growth. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also an official creative intern for ODU sports media and also work for ODU football recording film. I coach cheer and gymnastics at the YMCA and aside from ODU sports media I have my a personal photography business. My employment experiences and outstanding academic performance have expanded my personal and professional integrity, dedication, and responsibility.
