My name is Stephaun Walker, and I am currently pursuing a degree in General Studies with a concentration in Leadership at Old Dominion University. Academically, I am passionate about understanding how effective leadership can positively influence communities, organizations, and individuals. I enjoy exploring strategies for goal setting, problem-solving, and collaborative decision-making, all of which I believe are essential skills for any aspiring leader.

On a personal level, I am committed to growth, both for myself and those around me. I am proud to serve as the captain of the ODU basketball team, a role that has strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills both on and off the court. I value mentorship, community engagement, and creating opportunities that empower others to succeed. My long-term goals include leveraging my leadership skills to inspire and guide others, particularly in environments where motivation, guidance, and positive influence are most needed.

Through this course, I hope to strengthen my reflective and analytical skills, connect with peers who share similar interests, and further develop my ability to integrate knowledge across different disciplines. I am excited to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful discussions this semester.
