Professional Goals

One of my main goals is to be able to get work done efficiently and quickly. There are always times in doctors offices where patients are always waiting and it can get backed up pretty quickly. I feel like being able to work quickly and efficiently with each patient is huge when it comes to having success. In order to do this I am going to watch how Dr. Guinand runs his business. How he satisfies the patients wants, but also moves fast and efficiently so more patients can be seen. Being by his side learning how to track records, check up on patients, and communicating with patients is something I will work on to create a successful, fast, and easy business.

Another goal will be to know how MRI’s are properly done. In order to achieve this I am going to be in the room watching an MRI be done. I am going to see the results of the MRI first hand, and I think that this will help me learn more about them. Same goes for x-rays I will watch them and see the results of them. Furthermore I want to be able to point out the injury, which I will be able to learn here.

I also want to be able to successfully document the patient’s history. This can always be hard to keep organized and my goal is to have it all run smoothly. I will watch how Dr. Guinand files paperwork and organizes each patient’s information. Watching him will eventually help me learn. I am super stoked to get to work.
