Hello everyone. My name is Sydnee Brady and welcome to my Sport Journal! A little about myself, I am currently in my 2nd year of graduate school with my master’s degree in sport management. I grew up in Newport News, VA where I lived until moving to Norfolk in 2018 to attend Old Dominion University. Throughout my childhood, I had a strong passion for sports as I fell in love with the game of softball and realized that I wanted to stay in this industry even after I retired from playing. With this, I am currently working with ODU Athletics as an Athletic Facilities and Events Coordinator. In this position, I am responsible for managing and maintaining all athletic buildings, complexes, and stadiums while also running game management of home competitions on campus. I have found a passion for working the “behind the scenes” of Division I college athletics and contributing to every athlete’s success, on and off the field. I am looking forward to sharing more of my passions, thoughts, and contributions on this blog!
