My name is Jessica Duke and I am currently a senior at Old Dominion University who will be graduating in May of 2020. I have been pursuing my undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in health and wellness. I grew up in a Navy family and the traveling that I experienced allowed me to meet new people of religious and cultural backgrounds, experience new cultures and different ways of living, all while gathering insight on global issues that expanded outside of the United States. The integration of these experiences has helped me to develop and refine the skills that I use throughout my professional and school careers especially in terms of management, perception, and communication. I am outgoing, conscientious to those around me, open to new ideas or new ways of thinking, a dedicated worker, creative problem solver, and an overall good-natured person. I aim to further my education by pursuing a PsyD in Industrial Organizational Psychology so that I may apply my real-world experience and skills to help facilitate better more integrative work environments.
