Hi, I’m Tamara Barnes. I’m in the Lifespan and Digital Communications Master’s program. This is my second Master’s, actually! I’ve always loved communicating and finding different ways to share ideas, and my goal is to become a professor in the Communication Department eventually.

I work as an Academic Advisor in the College of Sciences at ODU, and I’ve been here for 20 years this month. On top of that, I also work part-time at Bath & Body Works. I have two amazing daughters and am a big sports fan of football, basketball, baseball… Go Birds! The Phillies and The Celtics.
