I am Tia Warren, an aspiring cybersecurity major set to graduate in 2028. I have had a deep interest in technology and cybersecurity since I was a middle schooler and am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to learn even more about the field and reach greater heights. I have cursory knowledge about cybersecurity, especially when it comes to networking topics and techniques.
Education
I have taken technology/cybersecurity-focused classes and earned two major industry certifications in high school at a CTE program. I have taken several cybersecurity-related courses in college, which you can learn more about under the courses tab, but I have many more courses ahead of me! I look forward to learning more about cloud architecture and pen-testing, as more and more organizations depend on cloud computing.

Hobbies
As expected, I have a huge love for technology and have been trying out new things like using Linux (Fedora KDE) and setting up a home server with Proxmox. I also like to keep up on news about recent breaches or ethical concerns over technology and privacy as we see governments making pushes for more online surveillance. I stay engaged on the ODU campus by participating in CS2A and SAGA events every week. I’m also an avid gamer and keep up with the latest news about the gaming industry, such as consoles, hardware, games, development, and more, but I also like trying new tabletop games. I love music and listen to more indie and alternative singers; however, I still do like pop and R&B. I played softball for a decade, mostly with a travel softball team.
