Hello, my name is Tiyara Fitzgerald, I’m from Chatham, Virginia. I am a sophmore at Old Dominion University majoring in Cybersecurity. I’m a cybersecurity student who’s always been curious about how things work, especially when it comes to technology and the internet. What started as an interest in solving puzzles turned into a passion for understanding how people and systems interact in digital spaces. I’m especially drawn to the human side of cybersecurity, why people fall for scams, how social engineering works, and how we can build smarter defenses. I’m still learning, but I’m excited to grow in this field and make the internet a safer place for everyone.
