I am an Old Dominion University student majoring in Biology. My main area of study is genetics. Currently, I am involved in a research program looking at population genetics of ticks from multiple sites in Virginia. I hope to continue my education through graduate school, and pursue a career in genetic research. I have been involved in many extracurricular activities, such as ODU Women’s Rugby club and the Fellowship of Women in Science.
