Greetings! My name is Natasha, I grew up in Montana, and at 19 I joined the Air Force. Over the course of eleven years I had the opportunity to live in Portugal, Nevada, and Oregon. I currently live in Norfolk, VA with my husband and two cats. In the Air Force I spent seven years working in computer networking and four years as a recruiter. I attained my degree in Health Science from Bellevue University in 2019. I am currently pursuing a degree in Psychology and will be applying to graduate programs upon completion. In the future I would like to spearhead or collaborate on the following projects:

  • Development of a psychology curriculum for elementary students and implementation of monthly counseling check-ins for each child
  • The establishment of a mobile acute mental health service team
  • Legislative initiatives to mandate funding and services for community wellness programs

It is my hope that one day the stigma surrounding mental health is abolished and that children and adults have adequate access to mental health care.

But do it in a way that will lead others to join you”
