1. Describe three ways that computers have made the world safer and less safe.

Computer and software have made our world way safer, because they are able to have all of our privative information on a hard drive or in the cloud. So then people can not just walk into your house and steal your life so to speak. It’s a lot harder to hack a system that is protected then it is to just walk into someone’s house and steal all of their information. Computers have also cut way back on the need for paper because we don’t need to write everything out on paper when we can type it and send it digitally to who ever needs it. So we don’t need five filing cabinets full of work and information about things when it can be all stored online. But all of this has come with a lot of negatives such as people health we are fatter and out of shape then ever before we are one of the worlds fattest, and lazy countries in the world. A lot of that has to do with how advanced we are compared to everyone else in the world. We have the best food production industry by far we literally pay farmers not to grow food because if we did it would create a food excess and we would waste so much more then we do now. Also our country has the most PC’s, Xbox’s, PlayStations in the world and all of this is great but our society has abused this because kids growing up now days don’t go outside all they do is play the game or watch TV all day and get fat, and develop health problems. Also by having everything online and being able to use less paper it puts all of your private information in one spot so if it where to be breached the hack would have all of your information in a matter of seconds.

2. How do engineers make cyber networks safer?

Cyber engineers make cyber networks safer by researching and developing the best anti malware, virus, and spyware protection. They are always looking for new ways to protect our systems, and they are always watching and looking for potential breeches in our systems. If one does happen they work hard and fast in order to get the systems back up and get the virus out of our computers so then they can operate a full capacity again.
