I am a junior at Old Dominion University seeking my bachelors in Human Services with a certificate in Substance Abuse. I have always been interested in the human service field in many aspects. I worked as behavior support in the special education department for a middle school. This is where a really became passionate about the line of work. My connection with the students and ability to do my job successfully encouraged me to further my education.

When I graduate I plant to continue my work within the school system helping children with behavior problems. While doing so, I plan to become certified in drug and alcohol abuse counseling. The human service field has many aspects that interest me and I plan on finding the one that best suits me to help others.
