My name is Amanda and I am 35 years old, I am married and we have 3 kids. My spouse and I are both in college to better our lives for ourselves and our children. I decided to change my major from Business to Human Services because I felt that I could help people more in this major. I have had a heart for helping people since I was a child and started taking care of my neighbor around 8 years old. I continued taking care of neighbors and decided to get my C.N.A while in high school and supported myself with it during my first couple years of college until my back was injured. Changing my major to Human Services is probably the best decision I could have made. I have learned so much and I hope to become a counselor or a therapist with this degree. I will also be going for the HS-BSP because I was already planning on furthering my education after this degree, and I take pride in my grades. My ambitions are to help others in their everyday lives and to make a difference in the world. We will never get rid of all the hate in the world but we can make our stay here a little happier and brighter for ourselves and others. My desire to help others will continue to grow as I grow in my education.
