Initial Submission:

    I am conducting my evaluation on Newington Clothes Closet. This is a nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to Gloucester County and surrounding counties. These services are created to help low- and middle-income families and other members of the community. I have created an observation checklist to observe the day to day operations of the program. This checklist will also be used to observe daily interaction between staff and clientele. I developed interview questions for staff members and clientele to effectively measure their prospective of this organization and its services. I have developed survey questions for program participants and personal. The goal of these questions is to understand how clients and staff perceive the effectiveness of this organization within the community and its impact within their client’s lives.

 

Observation checklist:

  • Are programs centered around the welfare of program participants?  Yes/No

  • Did clients exercise their independence while receiving their services? Yes/ No
