{"id":10,"date":"2016-06-21T15:48:15","date_gmt":"2016-06-21T15:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/ONRMechTech\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2017-05-23T18:55:53","modified_gmt":"2017-05-23T18:55:53","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/ONRMechTech\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tidewater Community College (TCC), in collaboration with Old Dominion University (ODU), is developing and implementing a set of standards and building an educational pathway from an Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) to a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in General Engineering Technology with emphasis on Mechatronics \u2013 with a maritime concentration.<\/p>\n<p>The project focuses on a dual effort in the development of a pathway for maritime mechatronics education. The first effort reaches out to high school students by exposure to possible mechatronics careers through dual enrollment classes, and introduces students to mechatronics educational pathways.
