I came to ODU for it&#8217;s Dental Hygiene Program!! I chose this major because dental healthcare workers changed my life. I grew up hating my smile and when I got braces I started feeling more confident. Once my braces came off I knew that I wanted to help someone else feel the way I did at that moment. I also believe that I will excel in Dental Hygiene because I&#8217;m passionate about it, I have a personal connection to this job and I&#8217;m grateful for it.
