This has led to increased collaboration, knowledge sharing, and social interaction, contributing to a safer world by fostering better relationships and understanding among people from different backgrounds and cultures. But with this come the rise of computers and social media has led to the cyberbullying and online harassment. With the ease of anonymity and the ability to reach a wide audience, individuals can engage in harmful behavior online, such as bullying, harassment, and hate speech, leading to emotional distress and psychological harm.
2: Information access: Computers have made information more accessible than ever before. With the internet, people can easily access large amounts of information on various topics, ranging from news and research to educational resources. This has giving access to knowledge, allowing people to learn, educate themselves, and make informed decisions. Access to information has empowered individuals, improved education, and facilitated research, leading to advancements in various fields such as healthcare, science, and technology, making the world safer and more informed. But with this comes the extensive use of computers and the internet has raised concerns about privacy. The collection and use of personal data by technology companies, governments, and other entities have raised privacy concerns, as individuals’ personal information can be misused or compromised. Data breaches, surveillance, and misuse of personal data can result in identity theft, harassment, and discrimination, posing risks to individuals’ safety and privacy.
3: Entertainment: We can easily watch movies on our computers and browse the internet/social media. Search of up things instead of taking the time to learn stuff. With this comes technology addiction and the increasing reliance on computers and technology has also led to concerns.
