When looking at cyber security in the United States it is important to analyze cybersecurity in other countries. In doing so, it gives us a better understanding of where we are at in cyber security and how we can improve. This week we were asked to compare cybersecurity risk in the U. S and another country. I chose to compare the United States and Iran. Cybersecurity risk in the U.S include hackers, national governments, terrorist, organized crime groups and more. The most common cybersecurity risks in the Unites States are national governments. The threats can range from propaganda, espionage, infrastructure destruction and loss of life. With these threats, there goal is to weaken, disrupt, or destroy the Unites states. While the Unites state cyber security risks in national governments, Iran’s cybersecurity risks are within their own governments. For example, the Islamic Revolutionary guard Crops and the Ministry of Intelligence.
