“Short arm” of predictive knowledge is defined as the ethics of each situation being immediate. Meaning, there is no evaluation of how certain decisions will affect the future. “Short arm” is not beneficial to creating cyber policies and cyber infrastructure. When creating these types of policies it is important identify and analyze possible situations that could arise. Furthermore, organization, cooperation and individuals will be more ready to combat breaches, cyber-attacks, frauds and more.  With cyber policy, it helps set standards for behavior on social media sites as well as in big organizations and corporations. Constantly updating policies will increase safety and bring more consumers. Moreover, updates polices can better combat attacks and be prepared. Along with cyber policies, cyber infrastructures are just as beneficial. Cyber infrastructures are networks that connect systems and files through another cyber network or medium. Maintain cyber polices as well a cyber infrastructure ensures the safety of the economy, safety and other forms of welfare.
