Cybersecurity risks are different in each country because of things like their technological infrastructure, their laws and rules, the political unrest in their area, and how smart the hackers are. To show this, let’s look at the hacking risks in the US and Russia. Critical infrastructure systems in the US are open to cyberattacks because they are all linked together. Cybercriminals who want to make money or cause problems often go after industries like banking, healthcare, and energy. A lot of Internet of Things (IoT) gadgets are also a big problem because they don’t always have strong security measures, which means they can be used for bad things. However, the types and levels of these risks are different for each country because of its own political and technological environment.
