Cybersecurity and the Social Sciences is one of the more “non-traditional” cybersecurity classes offered at Old Dominion University, and that alone plays a big role into what excites me most about the course. More specifically, Cybersecurity and the Social Sciences divulges into how cybersecurity isn’t purely about mitigation and forms of encryption, but rather the study of how human behavior poses as both a benefit and risk within cybersecurity.
