The iLab at Old Dominion University has been a transformative and rewarding experience, allowing me to connect with young minds exploring futures in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Whether working with students uncertain about their career paths or those already considering college in STEAM fields, I was able to mentor, guide, and inspire through hands-on learning experiences.

During my time at the iLab, I had the opportunity to:

• Build and Program VEX IQ Robots – Helped students construct and program VEX IQ robots to complete various challenges, teaching problem-solving and engineering fundamentals.
• Support STEM Exhibits with Newport News and Hampton Public Schools – Create engaging educational content for K-12 students, enhancing STEM understanding.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for cybersecurity initiatives and educational programs.
• Manage and troubleshoot iLab equipment, ensuring operational efficiency.
