storing electronic information on people can be one of the most significant risks due to that information not being secured enough. All the things occurring, such as big tech companies getting breached and people’s information getting touched by different types of hackers, can have a big problem in storing people’s reports on the web. I think that it’s because of all the things that happened in our world that pose a possible threat to storing people’s data and information. Many companies caused a lot of infuriating things, such as selling people’s personal information to other companies to make a profit. I think we should only put information that isn’t accessible, and if things were to occur, it wouldn’t affect them. I guess storing electronic information has its benefit because people don’t remember all their knowledge a lot of the time. Holding it gives them a keep in mind to remember and not lose personal info. But I also think everything has its cause and effect because a lot of time storing anything on the web that is not encrypted or not safe can be attacked and used against you if it’s ever to come. I think storing information should be used at your own risk and that you should only use it if you are very confident in knowing the risk you are taking. I think it’s a bad idea because we have a lot of these top tech companies that can’t even keep our data safe and what makes me believe that keeping information safe on them if they are the ones paying high sums of money to protect their account and information on it safe. I think nothing is safe, and one day anything can be breached and as i said, if these big companies can get breached, we are basically nothing compared to all the security they have and resources they use to protect their consumers.
