I want to pursue hygiene because my teeth had a huge impact on my life growing up. I had braces for 7 years and i was always so insecure of my teeth. I was in dental offices a lot growing up and after i got my braces off i felt like a brand new person. I had the oppertunity to take a class in high school through a technical center where i obtained by dental assisting certification and i got to work in an orthodontic office that also had dental office in it and i learned so much.
