Nursing BSN<\/p>\n

Why did I choose Nursing?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I chose nursing because I knew I wanted to pursue something in the medical field along with always wanting to help others and give back to my community in some way. I looked into and thought about going into the dental field, but something didn’t quite fit, I wanted something more I think, more of a connection with the patient maybe. In high school, I absolutely loved my biology class freshman year. I was fascinated by it all, it came easy to me. I think it was during this class where I thought about a career in the medical field would be great. I then signed up for the nursing class and I loved it! I had such a great teacher – she inspired me.\u00a0 My plans are to specialize in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or a Pediatric Intensive Care nurse. I would like to continue my education and become a Nurse Practitioner.<\/p>\n
