Born in MA and raised in FL, I graduated in 2018 from high school and Florida SouthWestern State College as a dual-enrolled student with an Associate in Arts, majoring in General Studies.
I went on to enlist in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist. I was stationed in San Diego, CA onboard the USS Bunker Hill, now decommissioned, for 5 years. During those years, I specialized in tactical data links and sailed the high seas of the Pacific Ocean for three arduous deployments, supporting Carrier Strike Groups 9 and 11. I continued my career in tactical data links as a Link 16 Network Designer at the Air Force Network Design Facility, TDLOMO, at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA. These roles provided me with the proper environment to develop and grow skills in leadership, communication, analytical troubleshooting, and collaboration.
I grew increasingly more passionate about continuing my career in technology and decided to enroll in Old Dominion University’s Cybersecurity undergraduate program. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve gained experience with programming, digital forensics, penetration testing methodologies, system configuration, and cyber policy. I have completed labs and projects involving tools such as Python, Nmap, Metasploit, and Wireshark, all of which strengthened my understanding of how cyber threats are identified, exploited, and mitigated in controlled environments. This work has helped me build a solid technical foundation for future roles in cyber operations, incident response, and defensive security.
Currently, I support Valor Cybersecurity as an intern, supporting CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) readiness and ensuring defense contractors meet DoD cybersecurity requirements. I’m driven by a passion for cyber operations, national security, and ongoing professional growth. I aspire to build a career on the front lines of cyber defense, contributing to mission-critical operations and pursuing opportunities within defense-oriented environments.
