Adriy Slynchuk’s list describes 11 things we unknowingly do online that are illegal. I think that the five most serious violations would be faking your identity online, bullying or trolling, collecting information about children, sharing passwords, addresses, or photos of others, and using other people’s networks. I believe faking your identity is a serious offense because it can lead to bigger criminal activity. You can be charged with fraud and it is a breach of privacy for other people. Bullying is a serious offense because it can result in decreased mental health of individuals and can cause a bigger issue if the person is pushed to that point. Collecting information about children is a crime and should be prosecuted at all costs. Sharing passwords of other people is a breach of privacy and can put other people at risk for safety. Using other peoples networks can cause their internet to slow down and it is essentially stealing.
