Hello, my name is Ashley Breland! I am a student at Old Dominion University and I am majoring in Biology with a focus on Secondary Education. I am currently enrolled in a Spanish 101 class here at Old Dominion. I have chosen to learn Spanish because it will help me in a school system and allow me to speak with Spanish-speaking families when needed. I also have a passion for traveling all over the world and I have been to Spanish-speaking countries in the past. I loved the Spanish culture and language when I visited those countries and that is another reason why I have chosen to advance my knowledge of the Spanish language.
