Andriy Slyncuk has described eleven things Internet users do that may be illegal. Review what the author says and write a paragraph describing the five most serious violations and why you think those offenses are serious.

Andriy Slynchuk outlines eleven activities with the top five serious violations including using unauthorized streaming services, sharing others personal information without permission, engaging in cyberbullying and trolling, recording VoIP calls without consent, and pretending to be someone else online. These offenses are deemed severe as they have the capacity to cause harm to individuals and communities. Unauthorized streaming not only breaches copyright laws, but also puts users at risk of data theft. Sharing information without consent can result in privacy violations while posing a threat to individuals. Cyberbullying and trolling contribute to harassment with emotional and psychological impacts on victims. Sudies show that this goes on more with teenagers. Recording VoIP calls without consent infringes on a person’s privacy rights. This can be misused for malicious intent. Lastly, assuming false identities online creates opportunities for fraud and deceit eroding trust in interactions.
