One way a computer has made the world safer is the ability to have endless knowledge at your fingertips. I consider this a way because it is good to stay informed about what is going on in the world and even in your own neighborhood, and you have that accessibility with computers. A second way that computers have made the world safer is through communication as communication is key in anything and computers have made that easier as people can communicate messages, data, personal information etc., and being able to access this information safely, quickly, and efficiently is extremely powerful. A third way computers have made the world safer is through computer monitoring more specially the monitoring of computers can catch life damaging threats as many potential attacks have been stopped from the monitoring of computers, with the detection of suspicious activity. With this there are three ways in which computers have made the world less safe. Starting with networks, as hackers and networks go hand and hand as hackers can steal a lot of data from networks especially public Wi-Fi networks that are not protected which leads to attacks on computers and the loss of personal information. A second way computers have made the world less safe would be even though it is good to have a lot of information at our fingertips it is also sometimes not the best as many people use these privileges for malicious intent possible endangering many lives and even through own. A third way computers have made the world less safe would be that most of our world is run by computers which can be bad in many situations as there many things that can go wrong with computer and when they help the world run there are many factors to consider and worry about.
