Jeu de rôle (Obligatoire):

You and your partner(s) will role-play a situation given to you in advance.  Make sure you have the necessary vocabulary and syntax for the situations based on our lessons throughout the semester, however, you should not memorize a script.  Be sure that during each role-play both you and your partner(s) ask at least five questions.  The role-play should last about 8-10 minutes.  You will be graded on the comprehensibility, fluency, pronunciation, task completion, vocabulary and language control as well as the suitability of your French (tu vs. vous; formality if the situation calls for it, future, past, necessity, etc.).  I am interested in finding out if you can actually carry out these functions, not in how well you act.  No written material may be used during the role play.  Your petite conversation will take place during final exam week.
