STEP 1: EVALUATE YOUR STUDY HABITS<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Describe your current methods of study. How do you study for each class?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I study for each class by taking at least 2-3 for each course. While using my notes which I try to make colorful so I actually would want to study, quizlets, or any great materials needed to study. In that period of studying I try to just focus on that certain class, but also take 15 minute breaks in between as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. What specific techniques do you use in class?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      I try to highlight the important things that are in the material, or maybe just not in the material, but something that might have been said by the professor. I try to jot down important details that the professor might mention about the material.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Using different research methods whether that be YouTube or quizlet or any other helpful techniques that help me get a better understanding of the material.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. Identify one class in which you are doing well (not HLTH 101). \u00a0 What study methods work best and why?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          One class that I am doing well in at the moment the most would be English. I haven\u2019t necessarily had to study much in this class, but in particular we have been doing writing assignments. I’ve had to expand and refresh my memory on the different kinds of writing styles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          STEP 2: IDENTIFY AND APPLY NEW LEARNING TECHNIQUES<\/b><\/p>\n

            Chemistry is the class that I have experienced the most challenges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

              One technique that could help me understand is note taking, but actually writing the examples down with the understanding of the examples and how it got to the specific answer. Writing down the details in between.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
