An Effective Reflection

In this course, I have expanded my vocabulary and get a good grasp to understand the spanish speaking culture. I have overcame my obstacles with challeging myself with the vocabulary terms to understand the meaning of the terms as well as putting them into complete sentences.

In the first picture I was getting to know the spanish culture and finding people around on campus that were spanish speakers gave me the oppurtunity to understand more and also expand socially with others. In this video I did a interview and disscussed a couple of questions with my interviewee and it was a project to test what I can do in the beginning of learning a new culture. My strengths and weaknesses did vary at the time I was a little comfortable with the terms since they had been very similar to english but as well challegning too.

During class time were the best practices for me in my case, I was able to learn more infromation as well as participate in my class with other classmates and the professor. The questions that would be aske dduring class time would help my mind expand and really think about the different verbs and vocabulary, also relating them to english words. In class time gave me more flexibility to work on my pronunciation as well to practice vocabulary. We were also able to answer and give questions in class which helped pick at my brain a bit and get a better understanding. I had a misconception about the spanish speaking culture and not understanding how relative it was in english but also different as well.

In English, give a brief description of products and practices that helped you gain understanding of cultural perspectives. Remember not to make value judgments or comparisons of better/worse or right/wrong. Different is just different. You are talking about your growth of understanding.

Interpersonal Communication f

This semester in my spanish class, my writing skills overtime changed in the begining I had much difficulty writing and understanding how to setup sentences in spanish. Overtime, I had many houdouts in class that helped me exercise with the different questions and knowing how to peice together words as well. I overcome this by really doing exercises to help me get a good grasp as wells as doing the homeworks to get a better understanding.
