Cybersecurity network within a business and the potential pros and cons.

For most businesses, having a cybersecurity network is extremely important and while it has its benefits, there are definitely some costs associated with doing so. Cybersecurity networks on average cost about $100-$500 a month. For small businesses, cybersecurity may not be their main priority, which may leave their networks, systems, and information security at risk. As the internet and technology industry continues to grow and adapt, there has been an increased demand for cyber security, to the point where even your local mom and pop shop may be looking into it. The reason being is because a major cybersecurity event could be very costly to the business in regards to employees, customers, business partners, and even their community depending on what the service the business provides and if the business is really popular, and also the business may gain a negative reputation, such as if the news outlets report that the specific location is where many customers credit card numbers were stolen, because of this, small businesses have a lot more to lose in a sense compared to larger companies. Any business, no matter how big or how small they are, can be a target for a cybersecurity attack, which is why in my opinion, having a cybersecurity network is a massive benefit due to the fact that most, if not all of your information, data, and even the customers information is protected. Having a cybersecurity network is integral for having a successful business in my opinion, and thus despite the costs associated with a system, it is worth it. While businesses may sacrifice $100-$500 a month for a cybersecurity network, the long term damage associated with an attack, with the effects being as mentioned, means that having a cybersecurity network with its benefits outweighs not having a cybersecurity network.
