My fifth favorite Item to Archive was Module 7 Archive. I enjoyed this item to archive because Germany has always been a country that I would like to go to and learn about as it is a part of my grandmothers culture and I really do not know much about it. While doing this item to archive it was interesting to see the difference between the United States and Germany’s scores on the five cultural dimensions

My fourth favorite Item to Archive was Module 11 Archive. I enjoyed this item to archive because it allowed to me to see the difference between how I perceived colors and emotions and how other countries did. It was also pretty interesting to what colors and emotions I related to each other and the ways that I grouped them compared to other countries. One of the things that interested me was learning that Russia relates yellow to being a color of envy where as I related it to being happy.

My third favorite Item to Archive was the Enculturation activity. I enjoyed this item to archive because it allowed me to see just how much my mother’s values and views affected my own. Although I already knew that we shared many of the same values, actually answering questions allowed me to see how big of an impact her values have on mine.

My second favorite Item to Archive was Module 6 Item to Archive, I enjoyed this item to archive because it made me realize just how much the impact of my niece being born has affected my life positively. Everything that I am today is because of her. I try my best to always be the best role model for her because she always tells me that she wants to be like me when she gets older.

My most favorite Item to Archive was ‘Module 3 Item to Archive”, the very first one. I specifically loved this item because of what I talked about in it. For this archived item we had to take a picture of an item that represented our family culture. I chose to take a picture of a family photo we have hanging up in our home. although its something that is normal in many households, for my family it is special because it is one of the few photos that we have with both of my grandparents in it. We know nothing about where our grandfather’s parents or family history, so our family history starts with our grandfather and since his passing it has been a little hard on our family being that he was the glue to hold us all together. This is my top artifact because it allowed me to realize just how special nd important my grandfather was to our family
