Skills and competencies emphasized are in system attack, infiltration, exploitation, defense, mitigation, and recovery. Cyber crime is for students under law enforcement and information systems. It is about technology related criminal justice issues such as cyber laws and computer crime investigations. This includes knowledge of cyber security, digital forensics, computer networking, and common programming languages like Java and C+. Cyber crime is important because of all the malicious things on the internet. Technologies will continue to improve and so will hackers technology along with methods of penetration and securing data. If we did not have cyber crime the internet would be a lawless place with lots of scams and malicious content and no network would be safe or secure. Database administration is apart of the Information Systems and technology program, which offers a unique combination of business knowledge and technical skills that prepares undergraduate students for success in the highly competitive and increasingly technical business world of the twenty-first century. will prepare you to understand both automation technology and the complex world within which it is utilized. E-Business & E-Commerce (Information Systems & Technology) is about the business side of cyber security. The major emphasizes the development of business analysis and system implementation skills, which can provide a basis for job entry, career development and flexibility amid the rapid changes in information technology. This concentration prepares students to be successful in the e-business and e-commerce fields, with coursework in web development, internet marketing, and supply chain management.
