Formal Writing

Throughout this course we had four big papers to construct, rhetorical analysis, visual argument, Proposal, and a research paper. The rhetorical analysis was on a documentary, What The Health, directed by Kip Anderson, expressed the dangers of incorporating animal based products into one’s diet. I stood in agreement with Anderson, and said his argument was persuasive. He used the rhetorical devices such as ethos, pathos, and logos to capture the viewer. Next, the visual argument, we were to think of and make a visual that can be argued. Along with our debatable picture, we gave an analysis and argument to it. We participated in a non-profit which a requirement for the course. Once we experienced the non-profit for 16 hours we were to write a proposal. The proposal was to state all the things that could be improved or changed within the non-profit. Lastly, the research paper which reflected and aligned with the visual argument.
