Taking UNIV 150 my first semester at Old Dominion University has impacted my writing skills in a positive way. This class has paved the way for me to become a better writer in the future. I learned how to use the writing process effectively by making drafts, brainstorming and doing better at revising my papers. After taking this class I feel more confident in my writing styles and how I can make my voice heard through my writing. For example, I also better understand how to use citations: how to cite sources, when to cite sources and where to cite sources. Helping with not plagiarizing and being more organized in my writing. The E-portfolio played an important part in bringing all the aspects of my life into greater focus, helping me in my journey through school and future careers. My E-portfolio gives me something to show for all my effort I’ve put into this class and experiences. My E-portfolio has also helped me tell the story of my educational and professional journey. It has allowed me to communicate my skills and ideas in a vibrant and visually irresistible manner.
