Parallel Major

The majors that are compatible with me are political science (available at ODU), culinary science (not available at ODU), healthcare administration (available at ODU), sport, kinesiology, health service (available at ODU), labor relations (not available at ODU).

The parallel major I am choosing is the sports, kinesiology, health care major. I chose this major because it is the closest thing to the major I am already trying to graduate from. The fact that I would still get to deal with sports injuries is one thing that really interest me into picking that for my parallel major. One interesting fact is that sports, kinesiology, health care is a continuous growing major. Another interesting fact is that there are many various things you can do when you get that type of degree. The last interesting fact is that I can help people in many ways including breast pain, asthma, arthritis, migraines, insomnia, tinnitus, and dyslexia. A job I can get with this major is becoming an acupuncturist. An acupuncturist is originated in China and is used to help people with their illnesses by moxibustion, massage, polarity devices, blood moving approaches. I would have to take more chemistry, math, and biology classes since I would deal with people, blood, and medicine. I could reach out to my old physical therapist since she qualified in using acupuncture. My advisor would stay the same since it is still a health science.
