Social Media Disorder Scale

I scored a 2 out of 9 on the scale. I think one aspect missing from this scale is boredom. How many of us head to social media just because it is something to do? or a habit to fulfill? I suspect these questions may better apply to a younger audience. Teenagers and those in their early twenties. My thought behind this is when I was younger, social media started to negatively impact my mental health. With enough time passing, however, I grew tired of that negative feeling and successfully and intentionally spent less time on it, coinciding with number four on the scale. In another way, with age comes the time necessary to see and feel that there is a problem.
