These networking skills and social behaviors are perishable, meaning to be proficient, you need to practice. This does not mean making a concerted effort every day to talk to someone new but instead, this means utilizing online platforms to build your network. Actively pursue discussion and continuously update your resume. These skills tie in nicely with social behaviors posted in job listings, such as \u2018team player\u2019 and \u2018continued learning\u2019. Sometimes getting the job is because of who you know.
