Some businesses or non-profits that is in or related to my field is Cybersmile, Kaspersky, Computer Emergency Response Team, BitSight, and The Center for Internet security. Cybersmile is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the victims in cyberbullying; this organization supports people that have become victims in all forms of harassment. Without social media or the cyberspace, cyberbullying would not exist. Kaspersky is an antivirus protection software that also protects the “digital life” of the device that it is on. The Computer Emergency Response team is a business that provides cyber defenses for the nation. Their goal is to “reduce the Nation’s risk of systemic cybersecurity and communications challenges.” Bit sight is a business that provides rating on cybersecurity products. It tells people what their risks are of using a product. The Center for Internet security is a business that has an overall goal of protecting organizations from cyber threats. All of the organizations and business have a common goal of protecting people online. Although they do have different methods of doing so.
